I bought this jacket in my early twenties, one of the first pieces of clothing I bought after I got my first “real job”. It fit so well, and made me feel so cool at the time. It’s a bit threadbare in places now, which is why it’s been stitched and patched. But it’s so comfy and soft, and I think the stitches just make it more me. I’m really interested in visible mending and the idea that clothes that look a bit worn down have their own beauty—a patina that makes them special.
